First, let’s have a look at
some of the benefits of Hatha yoga…
Hatha Yoga is another

- Lose weight
- Let go of stress
If you have ever tried
this, you will know how great it makes you feel. If you read
on, you will soon know…
Excellent!
Ok, so what is this
Hatha Yoga…?
What is this Hatha Yoga
Hatha is made from the two
words Ha and Tha which means sun and moon. This is
practically the same as hot-cold and yin-yang, that is
opposing energies. This is one of the most popular schools
of yoga and is usually the one that people talk about in the
west, when referring just to ‘yoga’.
The goal of Hatha yoga is
to bring balance between the different energies in the mind
and body, via the different exercises.
Hatha Yoga consists both of
physical exercises, postures, breathing exercises and
meditation.
It is one of the eldest
kinds of yoga and one of the most popular ones as well.
You have most likely hard people talk about this kind of
yoga, and would like to look some more into this yourself.
So how do you get started…?
How to learn Hatha Yoga
There are different Hatha
Yoga classes both online and ‘offline’, and it may be a bit
confusing which one to choose. You may want to try an online
course first, or you may wish to join a club and do it
together with other like-minded people.
There are pros and cons of
both options.
Doing it online means that you usually will not have a
teacher to guide you. On the other hand, you can do it at
home, at your own pace, when it suits you and how it suits
you.
Joining a club means that you can usually not do whenever it
suits you. On the other hand you will get the benefits of a
teacher to guide you, plus the social aspect of doing it
with other people.
Whether you chose to take
an online or ‘offline’ class, I would recommend that you
gather some information online.
