How to chose the right yoga branch

Yoga is a dynamic system comprised with many branches and limbs, a vibrant system, each of these branches or limbs has it's own name and that is why sometimes yoga seem confusing. Anyone who is interested in yoga will find out these systems of yoga are very frequent and common terms, yoga has been around for over 5000 years and it is well known in many cultures and belief systems, all these branches and limbs of yoga come down to one seed which is the goal of liberating the self through the union of the body. Yoga has four major branches, which are the point of origin in developing the practice of yoga, the four branches are:
The yoga of devotion : to follow the path of this yoga you need to surrender yourself completely to the force or power greater than yourself, and that force could be a quality, a saint or a deity and that makes you enter the grace of self realization, Gandi and Dalai lama are perfect examples of the Bhakti yoga.
The Yoga of knowledge: this is the yoga of wisdom, it requires concentration of mental activity learning how to differentiate what is real from the unreal, and the limited personal self from the unlimited infinite self.
The Yoga of action: this yoga involves seeking liberation through a person actions, devoting selfless service to others, simple tasks like driving your car can be an act of karma yoga because is offering selflessly and benefit others in an act of service.
The royal yoga: this is a very popular yoga especially in the west, the person who practices it has to follow carefully prescribed path of eight practices, physical postures, breath control and concentration are very frequent, it is known to be the classical one because the practices in it are well detailed in the ancient yoga.
