There are different ways to reduce stress in your
life, and Yoga could be one.
First of all Yoga is not just a system of exercises.
First and foremost Yoga is a state of mind. It aims at release from the bondage of
human conditions by the extension and development of the personality. It gives freedom
from the persistent tension imposed by the life of to-day, and also from its physical
and mental consequences.
Yoga is a wonderful activity for acquiring patience,
calm, self-control and reduce tension. It teaches concentration and develops attention.
It includes a countless number of levels and can help you to overcome your bodily
ailments as well as to practise high meditation. We should do all we can to recover
our independence of spirit, our mental and physical balance. The ills of modern life
press on us more and more, and each of us must try to escape from them. So why not
study Yoga, since it will enable you to feel less stress and to develop your poise
and your happiness ?
